Albuquerque....where?

Man... there is nothing to do in Albuquerque New Mexico on a sunday. Sure, it's a bit late...but even the 7-11 closed at 11pm here. there area we are in....is nice, but a complete ghost town...haha.. Ah well. Show here tomorrow... should be fun.

Most of the shows have been great.(but not all of them) I hope people understand about the problems at the Phoenix show. It was a bit frustrating to come all this way and put on a show (as well for all the people who came, I bet)...and some promoter or club or whomever messes it up cause they aren't organized. Long story short: we were the last to know that our set was to be cut in half....we were told when we were already onstage about 5 songs in. I guess they over booked the venue with too many events on the same day...someone forgot to tell someone else...blah blah... probably makes our band look bad. we were cut off and the bands after us (?? we weren't told anything was after us) lost time as well. ... it felt like we were ripping people off who bought tickets. The Band was quite displeased. We'll be back sometime to play a full set and make it up to people... but never for the people who organized that event. We're grateful to be doing these shows... I want people to know that. The one good thing about Phoenix that night: the start, SYH and us going out for chinese food. Fun. glad to be doing more shows with them.

All that crud aside... tour is going well. Great shows and fun people in Vancouver, seattle, and more.... THe Roxy in Hollywood was a bit of a highlight. Great line up with Lunarclick and The Start...although I wish School Yard Heroes had played as well... they have a great, very energetic live show. And it's also too bad that we only had the one show with Lunarclick. THey were great live, have a new Cd and they're so nice. All the bands have become buds. It's pretty cool, no attitudes

Haven't had as much internet time since we left, so I hope my family and friends remember me, heh.

I wish I could of went to the Hollywood show, oh well, Ill see you in houston fo sho I hope, ill be with Eric, we are taking him and stuffs sooo yeah Ill try not to go all fan boy on you and say hi! and get a autograph and stuff

Mistakes and downfalls are all apart of the musical experience. *pats on back* It will happen, you guys just have to learn to get through it. Good luck with your future shows:)

Heh. While that's true... the mistakes weren't ours. We are getting through it just fine, haha, but it's lame to have to deal with people not bothering to do their jobs properly, and it affects something you are working on. MOst of the shows are great. Now I would agree that these shows can be learning experiences... but the band isn't learning much but 'don't work with anyone who isn't a trusted professional'.

HAHAHA YOU'RE GOING TO AUSTIN! dude, it's the best city ever! I wish I'd known sooner, I totally would have made you check out my hood. haha. while you're there, just walk around down on 6th st. It's crazy fun during SXSW.

ha. yeah, exactly... that's where we've been for the last couple of days. we stay outside of town...about a 14$ cab ride away to all the shows (we played at Elysium) ... there's people everywhere. I like Austin...you were right all along, it's pretty cool here. very wicked music scene. Saw the Bat bridge, too, at sunset. ..and hey..where the heck are you now?

Just kidding. I'm glad to hear that the tour is going well. Be sure to enjoy your time out and don't burn yourself out. I'll see you guys in Chicago and maybe Detroit. Have a great time!

dude, that sucks about the phoenix show. what arseholes! and just plain bad organizers, too. :(

i'm hoping to see you guys in nyc in a few weeks, but it'll depend on how much money/time i've got to get there. mebbe if i miss you there, you'll manage to do a show in t dot or mtl (or ottawa!!) so i can finally hear this uber-amazing 'kill the lights' track. (uh, live, that is.) :D

as for the boredom...did you guys bring any board games with ya? :P

Sorry about Wednesday night's show...

...I couldn't make it due to a car accident on the way to Austin. Read here for the rest of the details.

If you guys aren't busy Friday sometime I'd still love to geek it up with you with my awesome blue-green combo, but if everyone is busy it was great to see you all and the show, despite the technical issues that I really didn't notice, was grand.

the Austin show was good... really late...we were on at 1 am... but there was still a good size crowd there....i was supprised! we'll play there again sometime..the owner was good to us and a nice dude,. ..glad you liked the dvd ;) nice meeting you too!

Hey Rhim! I met you at the Roxy show. You and the rest of the band are all so amazingly nice! I took pictures with you and everyone else... except Aslan... I couldn't find him. I'll get him next time. Anyway, that was just about the greatest show in the history of the universe... AND the best day of my life because I got to meet all of you. I'll see if I can put the pictures I took on my LJ, so if you're interested in seeing them you can look there. I was going to tell you that I had found you on LJ at the show when I met you, but I chickened out...

Hello sir!

I was at your show at HaVoK in Houston and had the best time of my life! You guys were all awesome, both onstage and off! I'm still very impressed at how nice all of you were, and patient when things went wrong! (Like my camera repeatedly not working. *cry* Sorry about that!) I just like that you care about the fans and don't have that "celebrity attitude", if you know what I mean?

Anyway. Thanks for coming down here! The show was great, and I hope the rest of your tour goes well!
